PARSIPPANY, N.J., July 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Avis Budget Group, Inc., parent of Avis Rent A Car, LLC and Budget Rent A Car System, Inc., today announced that it has been selected by Sears Holdings Corporation to receive top honors at Sears Holdings' 2006 "Partners in Progress" awards. The prestigious award is presented annually to a small group of supplier companies that provide Sears Holdings with quality products and services, from apparel, appliances and tools to marketing, facilities design and technology. Less than one percent of Sears Holdings' more than 41,000 suppliers earn the coveted award each year.
